Peter Nicholson
Chief Creative Officer


Peter Nicholson was appointed Chief Creative Officer, Publicis in New York as part of the consolidation of the Chicago and New York offices. He joined the agency in April as Chief Creative Officer, Publicis in Mid America Chicago from Goodby Silverstein and Partners. Nicholson has created high-profile campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands including Microsoft, Adidas, Budweiser and Polaroid. His creative awards include Cannes Lions (Gold), One Show Pencils (Gold), Kelly Awards, CA, British D&AD, Clios and EFFIES.


Terrie Paladino
Executive Vice President
General Manager


Terrie Paladino took on additional executive responsibilities as General Manager, Publicis in New York as part of the consolidation of the Chicago and New York offices. Paladino has retained her role as Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer, Publicis in the U.S. The recipient of multiple EFFIES for brands such as Fosters, RCN and TU, Paladino joined Publicis in May 2000 from highly regarded creative shop Angotti, Thomas Hedge, where she was Chief Operating Officer. She began her career at TBWA as part of the team that launched ABSOLUT Vodka in the U.S.


Marta LaRock
EVP, Director of Strategic Planning


Marta LaRock joined Publicis following the recent acquisition of D’Arcy. Prior to D'Arcy, Marta spent twelve years at Young & Rubicam, New York, where she was Managing Partner, Director of Brand Planning. Throughout her tenure at Y&R, Marta was key in shaping the strategies of global icon brands such as Sony, AT&T, Chanel, Colgate, and Mattel. She led Y&R to 10 Effie Awards in 2001, the most in its history. In addition, Marta helped transform the research department at Y&R into one of the largest brand planning departments in the country.

Prior to Y&R, Marta held planning positions at Avrett, Free & Ginsberg and DDB Needham. She is one of the original instructors at the Miami Ad School’s Boot Camp for Account Planners and was inducted into the YWCA’s Academy of Women Achievers in 1997. Marta has a Ph.D in mathematics from NYU and began her career as a math teacher.
